It appears Saints fans may have the makings of a vicennial event on their hands. If the Saints trade back in the 2026 draft it'll be only the second time they've done it in since 2006, roughly 20 years ago, and that trade history lends somewhat of a clue on what Saints fans could expect if Loomis makes it happen. In the 2006 NFL draft Mickey Loomis moved back not once, but twice and they were player + pick trades outside of round one Trade#1 : 2006 2nd round pick (34th over
